This dedicated group of leaders oversees our strategic direction, ensures financial stewardship, and supports the staff as we work to empower individuals affected by the justice system.

Board members aren’t just advisors — they’re passionate advocates for change. Each member brings a deep commitment to STRIVE’s mission of reducing recidivism and helping individuals and families rebuild strong, purposeful lives.

Empower Reentry, Join the Board

STRIVE Initiatives is committed to building a Board of Directors that reflects the diversity, resilience, and lived experiences of the individuals and communities we serve. We welcome leaders, advocates, and changemakers from both inside and outside the criminal justice and reentry systems who share our mission of reducing recidivism and empowering transformation

STRIVE’s Board is a working board that meets regularly and actively supports the growth and direction of our organization. Here’s what to expect as part of the Board:

  • Six scheduled meetings per year (every other month)
  • One in-person meeting held annually
  • Participation via conference call is welcome
  • Meetings typically last 1–2 hours
  • Serve on at least one standing or ad hoc committee
  • Actively promote STRIVE’s mission, programs, and impact
  • Stay informed about STRIVE’s budget and financial needs
